At JP Graphics, we believe that Everything’s Better with Print (including wine) and our Employee of the Month for April 2023, is exactly why this is so.
I am very invested in getting the design community to understand how to leverage the amazing advances in print, and Shalini Vijay was in one of the Mission College classes that toured JP Graphics.
Shalini reached out after the tour and asked to work here, and in June of 2019, she began working in our prepress department. Since that time, she has become an integral part of the designs at JP Graphics. Starting with the graphics for our holiday parties and monthly giveaways. She is also in charge of JP’s Design Center – where the stores are for typesetting business cards and small fulfillment sites for some of our medical/pharmaceutical clients.
Shalini has truly shown the power of print when a client leaves with the most amazing trade show materials or wedding invitations that culminate with matching images on wine bottles and boxes. She has helped do quick graphics for monthly giveaways, from tags on seed paper, to air fresheners, to graduation posters and signage. Helping show how every event is so much better when it incorporates print.
Shalini is just the sweetest designer. Once she understood all we CAN do here at JP Graphics, she wanted to elevate every design she created with embellishments from sleeking foils and dimensional UV to digital die cutting. Her talents do not go unrecognized by both our clients and our staff, as you can see from the comments from the managers:

Shalini helps make my “crazy” ideas come to life, from adding an embellished logo to a wine package or bottle for the events I go to, to being the one to ring up clients who come in for wine purchases. Thanks to them and our external design team we WILL be successful in this very difficult market of wine and print. I am sure of it!” ~ Joan
