Five months into 2026, we continue building strong momentum. Our primary focus on medical and pharmaceutical print and packaging is delivering the right work, and the tremendous capacity we’ve built at JP Graphics is paying off beautifully.
Thanks to our improved efficiencies and training programs, we’re well positioned to handle significantly more volume.
Our push into promotional sales and mailing work is gaining traction. The seeds we’ve planted are starting to sprout, and we’re confident the harvest will be strong by the end of the year. We stay the course with optimism, knowing the best is yet to come.
Our recent Employee of the Month selections have highlighted a wonderful mix of enthusiastic new team members and veteran employees adapting to the evolving print industry. This month we proudly recognize Ramon Gonzalez, who is earning this honor for the second time.
Hired in June 2023, Ramon made a lasting impression right from his interview. An accomplished trumpet player, he sought a stable daytime role that would support his music gigs in the evenings and on weekends. We trained him in cutting, stitching, folding, and die-cutting, and he quickly excelled, especially on the die-cutters.
Ramon has a natural talent for machinery. He follows processes with precision, delivering consistently superior quality. Beyond that, he brings technical degrees from his native Nicaragua, including specialized training from Tecnico Agropecuario. He’s sharp, dedicated, and practices his English every day with the team.
Whether this is a steppingstone or the foundation of a long career in printing, the industry gains from talent like Ramon. Our young team members are mastering Print 101 across our full range of equipment, and the opportunities for growth here are excellent.
Ramon first earned Employee of the Month in 2025, and his ongoing excellence shines through again in 2026. Here’s what the managers have to say:
- “Ramon is busy all day on the die-cutters. I like the way he works, following the rules and processes. The number of issues keeps dropping, and he’s so efficient. He’s already mastering new machines like the Kluges. He’s a big part of the Bindery team.” ~ Jonathan
- “Ramon doesn’t goof around. He quietly and professionally gets his job done every single day.” ~ Claudia
- “You can watch Ramon master new equipment, from die-cutters to Moll gluers. He checks his work constantly, always says good morning, and keeps practicing his English.” ~ Joe
- “Ramon follows the rules with everything, including timecards. I never have an issue with him.” ~ Michelle
- “Surviving the many downturns in this industry is something I’m proud of, but watching these young guys, I call them ‘Mis Hijos’, and it gives me real hope. I now see a future where I can turn this company over to a well-trained, organized staff. Giving these young people an opportunity they don’t get every day, that will be the thing I’m most proud of.” ~ Joan
Congratulations, Ramon! Your dedication and skill are making a real difference. The future at JP Graphics is bright, and we’re excited for what’s ahead.
