It’s unanimous! Our July 2023 Employee of the Month is the one and only Mai Pheap.
Since she joined us in April of 2004, Mai has been the embodiment of adaptability, navigating the ups and downs of the printing world with ease.
Almost every month, Mai gets nominated for this recognition. It’s not surprising as she accomplishes so much here.
Mai started out on our 2-color Hamada, a machine long since gone, but Mai was the only one who could operate it flawlessly.
When we upgraded to our Kodak direct imaging press, Mai was at the forefront, handling small format, 4-color print and 4-color envelopes, and setting the pace before JP Graphics fully embraced Digital Printing.

Most notably, Mai is the driving force behind the success of our newest machine, the Xanté X-33 UV Flatbed Printer. Though small, this machine packs a hefty punch, overprinting wine boxes, golf balls, coasters, and even prototyping SBS packaging.
Mai’s attention to detail now has us overprinting logo’ed batteries for one enterprise, and incredibly, even Urns for a funeral home. And let’s not forget her mastery of Air Fresheners – a hit on Etsy and our popular giveaways.
Mai never wastes one minute of time, and her willingness to try ensures she is always growing. When we asked Mai to help in the mailing area, working the 2nd Xerox Iridesse, she took that job on too.
Mai’s commitment to her machines is admirable – she maintains them so well; they could pass for brand new! Just ask our managers about her invaluable contributions, and you’ll see how Mai helps us shine above the rest!
