JP Graphics, Inc. is honored to support innovative nonprofits through our high-quality printing services.
This month, our spotlight is on Girls Leadership Academy Meetup (GLAM), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2016 by Renée La Londe.
Renée started GLAM after her own life-changing moment at age 13. Her mother sacrificed to send her to a computer coding camp where she was the only girl. That single experience opened her eyes to what was possible, helped pay for college, and set her on a path as a tech entrepreneur. Today, she wants every girl, especially those from underserved communities, to have that same spark.
Owned and operated by women from minority communities, GLAM hosts completely free two-day immersive events. Girls meet C-suite female leaders and volunteers who look like them, hear their real stories, ask honest questions, and walk away believing they truly belong in leadership and STEM.
It’s powerful, meaningful work: seeing the right role models changes everything.
As a female founder in Silicon Valley, I’ve always been a champion for causes that inspire the next generation. I’m proud that JP Graphics can support GLAM by printing the materials that help bring these experiences to life.
