Meet Kim Reeves, our January Employee of the Month!

Kim came to work for JP Graphics in October 2014, along with 2 Letterpress machines and the 2C Ryobi, and he brought the skills to do in-house letterpress, foil stamping, and embossing.

Kim brought precision and organization to JP Graphics.  Everything had to be flawless before Kim could finish it.  Even if he had to adjust dies for multiple up layouts… every sheet had to be perfect.

Kim’s skills proved to be more and more useful, as we got into packaging. Not only were the small letterpresses useful for 1-up small dies, but he could do multiple functions on the 3 Windmill Presses – running more than just 1 job at a time if needbe. AND with his talents, he quickly learned the Cylinder Die-cutters and has mastered them quite well.

Now Kim’s a primary function of Bindery.  He works well assisting Norbi on jobs – relieving him of the pressures, as once Kim knows what needs to be done and when, he makes sure it happens.

When a new job comes in requiring Letterpress, he works well with prepress and sales, to figure out the ideal positioning and multiple ups, that will yield the perfect result.
