JP Graphics prints for a lot of interesting and unique companies which offer some cool and useful products and services.
This month we are highlighting Funke Design, a Mill Valley, CA design company.
This woman owned design company, was founded by Joanna Funke, a graphic designer with a background in architecture. Joanna approaches visual problems from a spatial standpoint and has an affinity for simplicity and use of negative space.
Her design solutions are rooted in function as well as form. She, like us, has a passion for the printed word and believes that well-crafted books are increasingly relevant and complementary to our digital world.
This February, in collaboration with Mark Funke, bookseller: Funke Design launched their “Exile Catalogue”—printed by JP Graphics —at the California International Antiquarian Book Fair in Pasadena.
This historical project is a bookseller’s catalogue highlighting 39 objects pertaining to the cultural and life experiences of individuals expelled or forced out of their home countries between 1923 and 1945.
Funke’s Instagram page shows a glimpse of the interior which artfully combines print and design to create a visual representation of the time.
If you are a retail business owner, we hope you consider Funke Design for your printed catalogs and marketing materials. We know they’ll do an amazing job showcasing your products, thanks to the power of print.
This video shows a behind the scenes look at how we printed, laminated, cut, and boxed their Perfect bound softcover book.
As a special gift, Joanna is offering a free 30-minute consultation to any of our readers. Email her using the link below and let her know JP Graphics sent you.
