This month we’re highlighting Hawaii at Home, a family (ohana) based gift box company that brings the islands to you!
Their passion for the islands, started when Vanessa married the love of her life, Clay, in Kauai in 2007. There was something about the mana (spirit) of the island that took them away from their hectic Silicon Valley lives. While working for Netflix in 2017, Vanessa started dreaming about how she could recreate some of those blissful moments, back here on the mainland.
In 2019, Vanessa’s first subscription box was launched under the She Lives Aloha brand. They soon found that men also loved the boxes, and the new Hawaii at Home brand was created to include all lovers of the islands.
Each specially curated Hawaii at Home box includes items that encompass the tastes, sights, and scents of the island delivered right to your door.
Subscription boxes are shipped twice-a-year (to help cut down on the carbon footprint). They also offer a Good Traveler Going to Hawaii Box for the lucky ones who are traveling to the islands soon, as well as a Hawaii Party Box which includes a cookbook, CharTREATerie board, wine jellies, and other Hawaiian themed treats.
