Although this year has been a struggle for the print industry, we have had some tremendous improvements, and they clearly showed with the selection of Teresa Barragan as the Employee of the Month for September 2023.
As we began to revamp our mailing services, pulling Claudia Rubio away from Bindery. We were fortunate to hire Teresa, recommended by Jai from Jay’s Bindery. Jai called me up personally to know he wanted her to come work here, after another company had shortages of work.
Teresa began working for JP Graphics in April 2023, and we were the benefactors of not only an amazing employee, but a well-trained, bindery person who could fill the gap created by mailing. She quickly adapted to the position as a liaison between Machine Bindery and working with Norbi, the bindery manager, and the Hand Bindery, working with Claudia. Teresa quickly adapted to the position and has been instrumental in bringing out greater opportunities at JP, as we have a spiral binder that can now be installed, as the demand for print returns.
Teresa is diving headfirst into die-cutting machines and exploring foil stamping, embossing, and letterpress. With her and Kim Reeves at the helm of our Kluge machines, specialty work will skyrocket. Expect high-end stationery and packaging with extra flair. Envision irresistible business cards, for the in-person meetings that are making a comeback. Teresa is propelling JP Graphics forward as she has the energy and drive; we celebrate and encourage!
